Baltimore Green Map uses mapping as a tool to document, promote and advocate for a sustainable city. Through its outreach activities, BGM encourages the discovery, use and stewardship of the Baltimore region’s natural, cultural and green living resources for city residents and visitors alike. Using the international Green Map® System Icons, BGM maps Baltimore’s ecological and cultural resources and the city’s progress toward becoming a healthy, sustainable urban environment.

This July, FTLA principals and staff will assist BGM with filling in map content, such as LEED-certified projects; green roofs; solar energy installations; water conservation; public gardens, etc.
